Cardiovascular SAB - Cardiovascular Medicine

Deepak Bhatt, M.D., SAB Chairman. Chief of Cardiology at the VA Boston Healthcare System and Director of the Integrated Interventional Cardiovascular Program at Brigham and Women's Hospital and the VA Boston Healthcare System. International Principal Investigator for the CHARISMA trial and several other major cardiovascular trials.
 
Charles L. Campbell, M.D. Assistant Professor of Medicine and Director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at the University of Kentucky. His research explores new therapies for treating acute coronary syndrome, oxidative stress and cardiogenic shock.
 
Steven R. Steinhubl, M.D. Director of Cardiovascular Research and Education, Cardiology Fellowship Program Director, Staff Interventional Cardiologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Kentucky. Principal Investigator of both STEEPLE and ACUITY trial and Co-Chairman of CREDO. Executive Committee of several large, multi-center RCT’s including CHARISMA, SYNERGY, FREEDOM, STRADIVARIUS, SHINE, PROSPECT, and CRESCENDO.
